Description
The crescent nebula (NGC 6888) is an emission nebula in the constellation of Cygnus. Its bubble-like structure is formed due to stellar winds around the central Wolf-Rayet star. The area surrounding NGC 6888 also glows strongly red due to ionised hydrogen, which forms part of the larger Sadr region nebula complex.
